I think this look works beautifully. The darker jacket is slimming, and the skirt looks like a maxi skirt and up to date, rather than just a long mid calf skirt. I like everything about it.
This is a great look for you. I like the balance of the jacket length versus the skirt length. It is a very flattering jacket on you and a good length for you I think. The skirt looks modern and fresh with it.
